Add jtice@scholarshipsinc.org to your email account's "Safe Senders List" -- this is very important, since we communicate with applicants & scholarship recipients via email! Scholarships, Inc. is not responsible for messages not received by applicants.
When you sign up for our application system, be sure to use an email address that you will continue using after high school graduation (example: Johnny.Smith@gmail.com); no high school or family email addresses.
FAFSA completed with Student Aid Report (SAR) uploaded -- in PDF, JPEG or Word format only. See the tutorial in BLACK above for help uploading your SAR to your scholarship application.
Verify email addresses of your counselor & school reference - incorrect email addresses may result in an incomplete application.
Confirm that your high school counselor received your transcript/verification request (see tutorial in GREEN above).
Transcript and standardized test score reports must be uploaded by your high school counselor. Does your counselor have copies of your ACT/SAT/TABE/Accuplacer test score report(s)? If you don't know - ASK! He/she needs your score reports to complete their reference for you.
Confirm that your school reference received the email from our online application system and that they submit the request by the deadline (see tutorial in GREEN above).
Two required essays completed; applicants are strongly encouraged to complete the additional optional essay.
Résumé uploaded in one of the following formats ONLY: PDF, JPEG or Word document. Make sure to INCLUDE HOURS PARTICIPTED in extracurriculars, leadership activities, volunteer activities, sports, paid work, etc.
Once all required questions are answered on your General Application (PART 1) and on your Graduting High School Student form (PART 2), click the button in the bottom right-hand corner to submit your application.
Double-check your documents - can they be opened? Log into your application from a public computer and test them! *Be careful with Google Docs or other password-protected documents..We can't access documents that require a special login/password!* Click the tutorials in RED or BLACK above for extra help uploading documents.
Based on your answers to some questions, you may be eligible to complete another essay or questionnaire and be considered for another award! See the tutorial in BLUE above to learn how to find out if you are eligible.
